RAMALLAH, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed Tuesday evening Bil’in village near Ramallah city and kidnapped three young men.
Local sources said the troops entered the village through the gate of the eastern segregation wall and fired flash and smoke grenades during the raid.
They broke into the house of Abdulfattah Bernat and rounded up his two sons, Mohamed and Ahmed, in addition to his brother-in-law Ahmed Betillow.
The soldiers took the three young men blindfolded and in chains into the area behind the wall, according to the sources.
Meanwhile, the IOF said they raised the state of alert in their ranks with the approaching anniversary of the 1948 Nakba (the catastrophe that befell Palestine when it was occupied by the Zionists).
The IOF also said that four special units would join the forces that are already on the ground to help subdue any Palestinian marches held on this anniversary.
The IOF stressed they would deal with internet campaigns inviting the Palestinians on this occasion to march towards Israel’s borders and checkpoints very seriously.
