JENIN, (PIC)– Families of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation jails have called for the establishment of an international investigative committee to probe Israeli violations of prisoners’ rights.

The relatives staged a sit-in before the Red Cross office in Jenin city on Wednesday calling on it and on human rights groups to demand easing restrictions on prisoners especially the sick and isolated ones.

They demanded in a message handed to the Red Cross an end to the policy of mass punishment and the treatment of sick prisoners.
