OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli “Peace Now” movement has exposed Sunday a number of plans by the Zionist entity to expand Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank.

According to a statement issued by the Movement on Sunday, Israeli war minister Ehud Barak gave the green light to start the construction of nearly 300 new settlement units and tens of supermarkets and commercial centers in the Israeli Beitar Aleit and Afrat settlements south of Bethlehem city.

The movement criticized the Israeli occupation government, and described the new settlement plans as threat to the Israeli “national interests”, saying that the construction of more settlements would make the price of peace for “Israel” high because it would be difficult to vacate those settlements in the future.

On the other hand, the fanatic Aterit Cohanim society announced it would inaugurate on Wednesday tens of new settlement units in Ras Al-Amood suburb in the town of Silwan, south of the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem.

The society added it would invite Israeli premier Binyamin Netanyahu and a number of Israeli Knesset members to attend the inauguration of the new settlements which was completely financed by US-Jewish billionaire Aharon Moskovich who is known for his support to settlement activities in occupied Palestine.
