The twenty activists began their journey in the UK, their destination Palestine.
Laura told me why the group had undertaken such a mission, which has now crossed fifteen countries.
The group has been engaging communities in debates that also pertain to their own struggle against oppression while holding up Palestine as an example of the most brutal type.
One activist shared a personal memory of a trip to Palestine in December 2008 around the time that the war on Gaza got underway. A war that left over 1400 people dead, mostly women and children. The trip had a profound and lasting affect on him, and kick-started his activism.
The website “one hundred days to Palestine” they told is now receiving up to 100,000 hits per month, making the campaign worth it they say.
They will rest in Turkey before heading south, the route has yet to be worked out but they are determined to complete it.
