WEST BANK, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested eight citizens in various West Bank areas and in the occupied Syrian Golan Heights at dawn Thursday.

Local sources said large numbers of IOF troops stormed the village of Taku south of Bethlehem and arrested a 55-year-old father and his three sons after searching a number of homes.

Other sources said that IOF soldiers detained a young man in Tamun village, Tobas district, and took him to an intelligence center.

In the Golan, IOF soldiers detained three citizens in the village of Majdal Shams.

A source in the village said that IOF soldiers have been launching a campaign of arrests in the border village ever since the Nakba Day events then launched another campaign after the Naksa Day. He added that 25 citizens were arrested so far at the pretext that they threw stones at soldiers.
