QUNEITRA, (SANA)- Israeli occupation authorities continue the campaign of arrests against the people of the occupied Syrian Golan as three citizens from the villages of Buq’ata and Majdal Shams were arrested under the pretext of participating in the demonstrations witnessed in Majdal Shams last Sunday on the 44th anniversary of al-Naksa (the setback).
Liberated Prisoner, Ata Farhat, said that the number of the captives since the demonstrations of Majdal Shams has reached nine young men, adding that the arrests come in the framework of the Israel hostile and provocative policy against the people of the occupied Syrian Golan.
Farhat indicated that the occupation forces charged prisoner, Wahib al-Saleh, who has been recently arrested with six other youths, with contacting what it called ” figures hostile to the Zionist entity” and the so-called “violation of Israeli laws” as he might face a penalty of imprisonment for a period of 15 years.
He added that Israel charges are usually based on photos captures by photographers and journalists.
