Bethlehem – PNN – The Holy Land Ecumenical Christian Foundation and its partners started the Know Thy Heritage Project, aimed at Palestinian youth in diaspora by organizing yearly visits for youth groups to reconnect them with their Palestinian roots.
Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation’s partners include the Arab Contractors, the Palestinian Telecommunications Association, the board of the Palestine Investment Fund, the Bank of Palestine, the Palestinian Tourism Development Corporation and the National Drink Company in addition to George Salam accountant group and Nafeth al-Husani, head of the technology and information department in Arab contractors.
Anthony Habash, director of the project, said that the campaign is a Palestinian campaign that will stretch from July 14 to August 2 that aims to bring Palestinians together from home and abroad in addition to helping the efforts to construct the Palestinian state in the hearts and minds of Palestinian youth everywhere.
Habash noted that the project has an advisory board that supports it with advice and future planning. Among the board are Hasham Al-Shawa, president of the bank of Palestine, Samir Khouri, vice president of Arab Contractors, Amar Aker, head of the Palestine Telecommunication Association, Ratib Rabia, head of the Holy Land Christian Ecumenical Foundation and Muhammed Mustafa, head of the Palestinian Investment Fund.
Habash said that the initiation ceremony will be held on Monday July 18 to welcome the first group of 34 students. Habash welcomed Palestinian, Arab and international media agencies to cover the program, emphasizing that this campaign has a national Palestinian message to the world and explaining that all media agencies will be contacted and invited to participate.
