NABLUS, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Saturday morning closed off the Iraq Burin village, south of Nablus city, declaring it a closed military zone to prevent its weekly protest march against confiscation of land.

Local sources said that IOF soldiers installed a roadblock at the entrance to the village and blocked traffic in and out of it and examined IDs of youth at the pretext of looking for wanted persons.

They said that the soldiers were also deployed in the vicinity of the village to bar entry of foreign activists or media reporters across the nearby mountains.

Meanwhile, Palestinian sources said that IOF soldiers rounded up six citizens in various west Bank areas at dawn Saturday.

They said that the soldiers broke into homes in Tobas, Jenin, and Al-Khalil amidst heavy shooting.
