Israeli security forces shot dead a Palestinian during an operation in (al-Fari”a) camp northeast of Nablus in the West Bank early Wednesday, a Palestinian medic and residents of the camp said.
Ibrahim Sarhan, 22, was shot at least twice, once in each thigh, and was dead by the time he reached hospital, the medic said. Sarhan had been on his way to dawn prayers when he was shot, his uncle Ismail Sarhan said.
Another Palestinian was also injured during the operation. Sources said that Ahmad Abu al-Hasan suffered a broken foot and bruises all over his body as a result of the brutal attack by the Israeli soldiers. The operation also resulted in the arrest of two Palestinians. (QNA) LY
