Five Injured, Two Missing After Israeli Air Raid Targeting Southern Gaza

Gaza – PNN – Five men were injured and two are missing after Israeli fighter jets targeted an underground tunnel at Rafah City in the southern Gaza Strip.


According to local sources, jet fighters targeted a tunnel that is being used to get construction materials into the Gaza Strip from Egypt.

Medical sources say that five men were injured while two are still missing inside the tunnel, which collapsed totally due to the airstrike.

Also on Thursday morning, Israeli tanks bombarded farmlands east of Gaza City. No major injuries were reported.

According to a statement from an Israeli army spokesperson’s unit, the Israeli air force targeted on Thursday tunnels in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip. The spokesperson unit claimed the air force was responding to homemade shell fire from Wednesday.
