JENIN, (PIC)– The mother of Palestinian prisoner Ismail Abu Shadof appealed for saving the life of her son who is suffering serious diseases in Israeli occupation jails.

She said in a statement on Saturday that her son was suffering from pain in his stomach and legs and the prison administration only gave him sedatives.

The mother, from Burkin village west of Jenin, said that she and her family members were denied visits to Abu Shaduf, 26,  for alleged trivial “security pretexts”, which, she said, were only meant to pressure and harass her son.

She said that her son was serving a 28-year sentence and that he has so far served eight years, adding that she could not visit him for many years.
