OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– International Tadamun society for human rights said the Palestinian administrative detainees in the Israeli Megiddo prison are living under extremely bad conditions and deprived of their rights.

This came after the society’s lawyer met with the oldest administrative detainee Ahmed Saqer in Ofer court and listened from him to the incarceration conditions of administative prisoners in Israeli jails especially in Megiddo jail.

Saqer explained that the prisoners in Megiddo jail are deprived of pursuing their education and receiving visits from their families. They are also exposed to constant humiliation such as strip-searching them and transferring them from one jail to another.

The prisoner told the lawyer that the administrative detainees may take protest steps against the prison administration unless it stops its repressive measures against them.
