JENIN, (PIC)– Family of captive Imad al-Masri, who spent more than 22 years in occupation jails, met with the Red Cross representative in Jenin, Dima Mahajnah, to express concern over the deterioration of his health.

Masri’s family called on the international organisation to intervene to save the life of their son.

The family said that his health situation is very bad and held the occupation government responsible for his life, especially that his health deteriorated so much that he often loses consciousness in addition to having a blood infection and renal failure.

His family was told that he is suffering from an infection the source of which is not known which has resulted in an 80% loss of his lungs’ function.

He also suffered a broken 4th vertebra during his interrogation and has never been treated for this injury.
