GAZA, (PIC)– Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri demanded Fatah faction to be serious during Cairo talks that resumed yesterday in order to implement the national reconciliation agreement.

“We are serious about implementing all files of the reconciliation agreement as soon as possible, but the success of this meeting depends on how much Fatah is serious,” spokesman Abu Zuhri told the French press agency (AFP).

“It is clear, unfortunately, that some points cast a shadow in a negative way on implementing the agreement, especially the prerequisites made by Fatah faction [especially those] related to its selection of Salam Fayyad as the premier, in addition to the rise in arresting and summoning Hamas members and supporters in the West Bank by the security apparatuses,” the spokesman stressed.

The spokesman affirmed that his Movement would discuss during this meeting all contentious points especially the ones related the name of the premier and the political prisoners.
