GAZA, (PIC)– Palestinian Prime Minister in Gaza, Ismail Haneyya, broke his fast on Thursday with orphans expressing joy at sharing the Iftar with orphans.

Haneyya said it was the duty of everyone to look after the orphans who lost their families either through the struggle with occupation or through other reasons, adding that his government is committed to its responsibilities towards them.

He pointed out that Gaza has more than its fair share of orphans because of the Israeli aggression, adding that from amongst them there will be scholars and leaders.

He praised Palestinian women for their perseverance and their central role in bringing up children to be responsible citizens.
