Protesters chanted loudly their support for the Palestinian President, urging him to head forward in submitting his bid to the UN General Assembly, requesting for Palestine’s membership 194 at the international body.

The Jewish Rabbi, chief of the Jewish Neturie Karta, said in a speech in front of thousands of protesters in the City of Nablus, “We salute the P.A President, Abbas, and we are here today to support the Palestinian-UN bid for statehood,” adding, “We are the original Palestinian Jews, feeling the pain that Palestinians feel and suffer by the Zionists and Liberals. We all know that Zionism does not belong to Judaism.”

“Zionists do not own anything in Palestine and they do not have rights to live in,” he added, “We are working all together to wave with the Palestinian flag.”

“The real Judaism is what our father Ibrahim (one of the Jewish prophets mentioned in all holy books including the Torah; the old testaments). The old testaments do not request Jews to establish a Jewish state at all. Zionism distorted and falsified the Torah. We are saying that we have been living with Palestinians since hundreds of years in peace and safe, and we are seeking to establish an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital,” he confirmed.

PA officials, police senior officials, ministers, PLC members and all classes of the Palestinian people are participating in rallies and demonstration in all districts of the West Bank, the Maan added.

According to the Palestine & News agency (WAFA), governors, PA and PLC members addressed the protesters, reconfirming their support for the Palestinian full membership bid the international body.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, will be holding a closed meeting with the US President, Barrack Obama, outside the UN general Assembly annual meetings, starting on Sep 20, ahead his speech at the UN body on Friday Sep 23.
