Israel Escalates its Aggressive Measures in Hebron

HEBRON, September 21, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces Wednesday escalated their arbitrary, aggressive measures against Palestinians in Hebron governorate, south of the West Bank, according to security sources.

Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed Sair, a town north of Hebron, and Tabaqa, a village west of Hebron, firing tear gas towards Palestinian houses.

Israeli foot patrols also stormed vineyards and orchards surrounding Palestinians’ houses in Krisa, a village south of Hebron.

They set up several military checkpoints at various entrances and side roads to the city.

A group of settlers from the Jewish settlement of Adora, under the protection of Israeli soldiers, raided Ein Fares, an agricultural area south of Hebron.
