My Name is #Nakba {Poem} ~ by @YasirTineh

My name is #Nakba, I’m the son of a murdered father & the daughter of a childless mother. I’m a twin in my being, A girl called Palestine & a boy called Palestinian,Yet I’m a family where sisters don’t have sisters & brothers don’t have brothers.

I’m Palestine & I have been raped, I cried & yelled but did not see help. World blind to the crime while I heal myself, Only grief is for my brother whom they have killed.

I’m Palestinian & I have been Killed, I fought and struggled but didn’t not see help. World blind to the crime while I lay here dead, Only grief is for my sister whom they tried to kill.

How many more dead corpses of Palestinians does the international community need to see in order to act? How many more cruelties and violations of Human Rights, Regulations and International Law will be needed to intervene so this ongoing warcrime is being stopped once and for all.
