GAZA, (PIC)– Hamas said it is fully aware of its political suggestions, especially with regard to Palestinian statehood, in response to accusations by Fatah’s media and culture office of the party being “politically ignorant”.

“Hamas is fully aware of what it proposes politically and believes that Palestine from the (Mediterranean) sea to the (Jordan) river is the property of the Palestinian people, without conceding one grain of soil”.

A statement by Hamas pointed out that “a fully sovereign state on ‘67 borders with Jerusalem as its capital and the refugees’ right of return is the joint program between all Palestinian factions, on condition of not recognizing (Israel) regardless of limitations”.

“The real ‘tampering’ with national issues comes from the door of unilateral steps recognizing the (Israeli occupier), coordinating with it, and combating the resistance,” the statement adds, in an apparent reference to the Fatah-backed step of seeking statehood on ‘67 borders without clarity on recognition of Israel or the right of return.
