JERICHO (Ma’an) — Operating hours at the border crossing between Jordan and the West Bank will be reduced on Wednesday and Thursday due to a Jewish holiday, crossing officials said.

The Allenby Bridge will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday and between 8 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on Thursday, a statement from the crossings department said.

The bridge is the sole border crossing open to most Palestinians in the West Bank. Israeli forces and Palestinian Authority security forces are stationed at the border.

The Jewish holiday of Sukkot begins on Wednesday evening and lasts for seven days.
