OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– Israel’s deputy foreign minister Danny Ayalon has said that his government was considering a cut off of all infrastructure services to the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli radio quoted Ayalon on Saturday as saying that the Hamas-Fatah rapprochement would seriously infringe on the peace process in the region, adding that the reconciliation would practically turn the Palestinian Authority into a “terrorist entity”.
Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu had earlier hoped that PA chief Mahmoud Abbas would freeze the reconciliation with Hamas and choose instead “peace with Israel”.
