AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up five Palestinian citizens in three West Bank provinces at dawn Thursday and stormed the home of a disabled father in Al-Khalil last night, local sources reported.

The Hebrew radio said that five Palestinians were detained in Ramallah, Tulkarem, and Al-Khalil, adding that they were wanted for involvement in attacks on Israeli targets.

Eyewitnesses said that IOF jeeps stormed Arub refugee camp in Al-Khalil and took away two Palestinians after ransacking their homes.

IOF troops closed entrances to Al-Khalil city and blocked the main entrance to Fawar refugee camp.

Also in Al-Khalil, a big number of IOF soldiers encircled the home of a disabled Palestinian and stormed it using dogs, which terrorized the family consisting of the parents and five children.

Sources close to the family said that more than 200 heavily-armed Israeli soldiers took part in the attack on the house of Badwan Abu Mayala, 36, in Qaytun suburb in Al-Khalil city.

They said that Abu Mayala was hit with a bullet in his head during the intifada and had speaking difficulty in addition to disability in 70% of his body.
