SALFIT, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has appropriated more Palestinian lands in the West Bank and bulldozed dozens of dunums owned by Palestinian natives in Salfit and Bethlehem cities in order to expand settlements and the segregation wall.

Eyewitnesses in Salfit said more than 10 Israeli bulldozers were seen digging and leveling the area between Kafr Addik and Deir Ballout west of the city.

Israeli bulldozers were also spotted doing the same thing in the industrial area known as the factories of Burkan and areas near Revava settlement, west of Deir Estia village, and in Maseha village in addition to other parts of Salfit, according to Palestinian villagers.

According to the rural council of Iskaka village in Salfit, the IOA would start soon to expand the segregation wall in the eastern part of Ariel, the second largest settlement in the West Bank, and it issued notices of its intention to confiscate 169 dunums of land for that purpose.

In a related incident, the IOA destroyed an agricultural land and uprooted its trees in Al-Khader village, south of Bethlehem, after it gave the Palestinian owner a notice about its intent to annex his land.
