JENIN, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) detained two Palestinian young men near the Salem army base to the north of Jenin on Monday claiming they were planning an attack on the base.

The website of Hebrew daily Yediot Ahronot claimed that the two youths were arrested with 12 locally made explosive devices, a pistol, and one hundred bullets in their possession.

It said that the military police detained the youths before embarking on their attack on the base, which includes a military court.

IOF soldiers arrested four young men from Balata refugee camp a week ago in the same place with locally made explosive devices after also claiming they were planning an attack on the army base.

IOF troops also rounded up two brothers in Yatta village, Al-Khalil, on Monday evening after storming their shops.

Sources told the PIC reporter that the soldiers stormed and wreaked havoc on many shops in the village before taking away the two brothers.
