OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (PIC)– The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) and its tentacles have been embarking for days on encircling the Aqsa Mosque with the so-called gardens of the Torah and Talmudic paths, the-Aqsa foundation for endowment and heritage warned.

In a report, the Aqsa foundation explained that the IOA recently started to build old-style terraces as well as roads and sidewalks called Talmudic paths and plant different trees in the areas to be turned into Jewish gardens.

All these construction works are taking place along the area southeast of the Aqsa Mosque. Dozens of workmen, heavy equipment and vehicles are used by the IOA to finish its plans, which also involves archaeological excavations in the same areas.

The Palestinian foundation also said the IOA finished a few days ago the tiling and furnishing of its bus station near Al-Amoud Gate, one of the entrances to the old city of Jerusalem.

The IOA built this bus station after it razed all Islamic antiquities in the area and it intends to use it to transport tourists and Jewish settlers to Magharat Al-Kattan (Zedekiah’s Grotto).

Next to this cave and along the space between Al-Amoud Gate and Al-Sahira Gate, there are other Israeli constructions works aimed at turning the area into a Jewish garden.

According to documents and maps obtained by the Aqsa foundation, the IOA is planning to establish nine Talmudic parks over an area of about 3,000 dunums extending from Silwan district in the south to Issawiya town in the north.

“The occupation is trying through the establishment of these Talmudic gardens and paths to counterfeit geography, history and archeology, obliterate the authentic Islamic-Arab historical landmarks, change their names into fabricated Hebrew and Talmudic ones, domesticate history and archeology and invent an unreal Hebrew history,” the foundation emphasized.
