KUWAIT, (PIC)– Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya discussed with the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed a number of important Palestinian topics topped by reconciliation and Jerusalem.

Taher Al-Nunu, the government’s spokesman, said in a statement on Tuesday that the “warm” discussions also tackled the siege on Gaza and its reconstruction.

He quoted Haneyya as elaborating on the difficult conditions in Gaza as a result of the blockade topped by unemployment and the electricity shortage.

For his part, the Amir of Kuwait said that Palestine was a priority for his country especially Jerusalem.

He announced readiness to contribute in the reconstruction of Gaza and in repairing its infrastructure.

Haneyya arrived in Kuwait on Monday evening coming from Bahrain in the third leg of his tour that first took him to Qatar.
