RAMALLAH (Ma’an) — A Palestinian diplomatic official was killed on Monday evening in a car crash in Abu Dhabi, the Fatah movement said.
Khalid al-Heidabi was born in 1958 and joined the Fatah movement in 1976. He obtained a BA and MA while studying in India and fought with the PLO in Lebanon in 1982, a statement from Fatah said.
He was allowed to return to Palestine as part of the newly created Palestinian Authority in 1994.
The exact circumstances surrounding his death are unclear.
