NABLUS, (PIC)– The international Tadamun (solidarity) society for human rights said the number of Palestinian patients imprisoned in the hospital of Ramla prison rose to eight detainees after two brothers in serious medical condition were transferred from the 1948 occupied land to this institution.

Spokesman for the society Ahmed Al-Betawi stated that the Israeli prison authority transferred a few days ago Farid Assad, 29, and his brother Mohamed, 20, to the medical facility of Ramla jail.

Betawi added that Farid suffers from unilateral paralysis and uses a wheelchair, and his brother has severe infections in the arteries and his body swells in a strange way.

The Israeli occupation forces had kidnapped the two brothers from their home in Kafr Kanna town about two months ago at the pretext of their affiliation with Hamas.

The Israeli authorities claimed the brothers were in contact with Hamas military activists from Nablus and Al-Khalil through their facebook pages and intended to carry out attacks against Israeli targets.
