RAMALLAH (Ma’an) — Four Palestinians were injured Friday in clashes that erupted near the Qalandia checkpoint during protests of rumors of a raid on the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Medics at the Palestine Medical Complex said one person was seriously injured. Talat Ramia was hit in the chest by a live bullet and undergoing emergency surgery late Friday.
Israeli forces were seen firing tear gas canisters and rubber bullets at the demonstrators.
