Syria Vehemently Condemns Israeli Occupation Forces’ Storming of al-Aqsa Mosque

Feb 25, 2012 SANA

DAMASCUS, (SANA)- Syria vehemently condemned and denounced the Israeli occupation forces’ storming of al-Aqsa Mosque during Friday Prayer and attack against prayers in a flagrant violation of the Arab Islamic and Christian sanctities, said an official source at the Foreign and Expatriates Ministry on Friday.

The Israeli forces injured tens of prayers with gunfire and arrested many of them in the framework of the flagrant barbarous Israeli policy that is aimed at destroying al-Aqsa Mosque and demolishing the Palestinian Islamic and Christian holy sites in preparation to Judaizing Jerusalem entirely, added the source.

It continued that “Israel’s defiance of the international community’s will and its rejection to implement the UN resolutions demand that the international community shoulder its responsibilities in compelling Israel to stop those practices for the protection of the Palestinians’ lives and properties and the restoration of their rights to build their independent state with its capital Jerusalem.”

The source reiterated Syria’s support, on this occasion, for the Palestinian people in its continued struggle to restore its legitimate rights fully.
