Palestinian Cabinet Welcomes Proposed UN Investigations In Al Quds

QNA FEBR 28 2012

Ramallah, February 28 (QNA) – The Palestinian cabinet has welcomed a call issued by the International Conference for the Defence of Al Quds which was held over the past two days in Doha, to the UN Security Council to set up a commission for fact-finding in the holy city and to investigate Israel’s procedures designed to impose the status quo and to preclude any attempts to make the city the capital of a future Palestinian state.

The cabinet condemned on Tuesday Israel’s continued violations in the holy city and Israeli troops attacks on worshippers at Al Aqsa mosque’s esplanade.

It also denounced the international community’s silence towards Israel’s atrocities in the city and elsewhere in the occupied West Bank. (QNA)
