West Bank, (PIC) — The PA security continue to hold three Palestinians from Qalqilya and Salfit and released six others, including two suffering serious health problems. The health of a political detainee from al-Khalil is reportedly deteriorating.

The PA security are still holding Harith Asi and Ahmad Mar’I, form Salfit and Abdullah Shawahna from Qalqilya for more than two months.

In Ethna in the southern West Bank district of al-Khalil, meanwhile, the family of political detainee, Samer Matar reported that his health has sharply deteriorated and that he had to be taken to hospital on more than one occasion as he lost consciousness several times at prison.

In al-Khalil also, the PA security released Raed Sharabati after paying a surety of J.D. 1000 and deterioration of his health.

Preventive Security arrested Sharabati after he was summoned for an interview last February. He is a released prisoner from occupation jails and he was detained on several occasions by PA security. He suffers from an injury to his hand as a result of being tortured using “Shabah” where a prisoner’s hands get tied behind his back then tied to his feet keeping him in this awkward position for long hours. A PA court extended his detention on the pretext that helped other political prisoners.

PA security also released Muath Abu Juhaisha, son of MP Muhammad Abu Juhaisha after his health deteriorated in detention and had to be taken to hospital.

In Qalqilya, the PA agencies released secondary school student Malek Qazmar, Ahamad Sadek, Ahmad Ayyoub, and Rami Ahmad after 65 days in preventive security interrogation and torture centres.
