(PIC)– Political bureau member of Hamas Ezzet Al-Resheq has affirmed that following up the issue of forming a new national unity government would resume within the few coming days.
He said in a press release on Monday that none should be held responsible for the delay in forming the government. The delay was normally adopted following joint understanding between Hamas leader Khaled Mishaal and Fatah leader and PA chief Mahmoud Abbas, he elaborated.
Resheq said that the government would be formed out of independent figures and would be transitory with no political program. He said that it would have three main missions to achieve: preparing for the elections, reconstructing Gaza, and healing repercussions of the internal division.
The political issues would be the mission of the temporary leadership of the Palestine liberation organization, the Hamas leader underlined.
He denied that his movement had demanded key portfolios in that government for it or for any other faction.
