JENIN, (PIC)– Palestinian women activists in the Jenin district on Thursday celebrated International Women’s Day at the home of Hana’ al-Shalabi, who is under administrative detention in an Israeli occupation jail, to express solidarity with her in her fight for freedom as she entered her 22nd day of hunger strike.

Palestinian women from the district streamed to visit her home in the village of Burqin to the west of Jeinin city in the northern West Bank and expressed support for her and her family in this struggle.

The mother of the captive thanked all those who showed support for her daughter and the family and called on those who always talk about women’s rights to pay attention to her daughter’s suffering who is dying slowly in occupation jails.

Meanwhile, supporters of Shalabi continue to stream to the protest tent pitched outside her home.
