BETHLEHEM (Ma’an) — Israeli forces dispersed a weekly demonstration in the West Bank village of al-Masara, near Bethlehem, and prevented residents from reaching their lands, activists said.
The local popular committee spokesman Muhammad Breijeh said this week’s protest was in solidarity with Hana Shalabi, a detainee without charge on hunger-strike. He stressed the need for more marches “before it is too late.”
