Two captives go on hunger strike in solidarity with Shalabi

JENIN, (PIC)– Two Palestinian captives from the village of Burqin declared an open ended hunger strike in solidarity with Hana’ al-Shalabi and in protest at administrative detention under which Palestinian captives serve imprisonment sentences but without any charges brought against them.

Fayez al-Shayeb and Nidal Abu Shadouf said in a message on Thursday from their prison that they have started an open ended hunger strike in solidarity with Shalabi who entered her 22 day of hunger strike to protest her detention.

They called on human rights organisations to pay attention to the suffering of Palestinian captives in occupation jails.
