Aqsa TV goes off the air at night for lack of power

GAZA, (PIC)– The Aqsa satellite channel announced on Wednesday night that it would be off the air during the night hours due to the lack of power and fuel shortage in the Gaza Strip.

The Aqsa TV apologized to its viewers for the step and broadcasted a photo for Gaza with a candle underneath in a clear reference to the power crisis that crippled various aspects of life in the coastal enclave for the past weeks.

Bakeries, civil defense, ambulance and emergency services were working at half capacity as of Wednesday due to the fuel shortage amidst warnings that their services would completely stop in four days if fuel was not supplied.
