GAZA, (PIC)– Fuad Al-Khafsh, the director of the Ahrar center for prisoners’ studies, has been on hunger strike for ten days in solidarity with hunger striker MP Ahmed Al-Haj Ali.
The Palestinian center for the defense of prisoners said in a statement on Saturday that Khafsh was on an open hunger strike in solidarity with the 74-year-old MP.
Ali has been on hunger strike for 17 days in protest at his administrative detention, without trial or charge, and in solidarity with other hunger strikers in Israeli occupation jails.
The center said that the Palestinian prisoners plan further escalation of their protests in what they called a revolution against the Israeli prisons’ oppression.
