Life of Abu Hadid in danger in Israeli detention

AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– The life of 60-year-old Hussein Abu Hadid is in danger in Israeli administrative custody. He has been in Ramle prison hospital since his arrest last month.

Human rights sources said on Wednesday that Abu Hadid frequently falls unconscious and there is a possibility that his heart might stop beating in one of those cases.

His family told the PIC in a telephone contact that Abu Hadid’s health condition does not tolerate detention, holding the Israeli occupation authority responsible for his life.

The family said that they fear for his life, recalling that he installed a battery to regulate his heart beat in a surgery in the USA in the past and needs to charge it every now and then.

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested Abu Hadid from his home on 27/3/201 and took him unconscious after shackling both his hands and feet.

One of Abu Hadid’s sons was killed at the hands of the IOF soldiers in 1994 while another is held in administrative detention since 2010 and a third is held in Palestinian Authority jails also since 2010.
