AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Mohammed Shalade has gone on hunger strike in the Palestinian Authority’s intelligence prison in Al-Khalil since Thursday protesting his incarceration, his mother said.
She said on Friday that she went to visit him and took food with her but he refused to take the food saying that he was on hunger strike.
The mother told the PIC reporter that Shalalde was sure that the intelligence has nothing against him and thus should let him go.
She said that Shalade’s 10-month old son, Jamal, was suffering from meningitis and his father should be beside him.
The mother recalled that the PA intelligence kidnapped her son in early 2011 and after six months released him to undergo an operation in his legs. He was summoned anew over a month ago but refused to go and the intelligence agents took him from his home by force despite his illness, she said, adding that a PA court had ordered his release but the intelligence apparatuses refuses to release him.
