AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Hunger striker in Israeli occupation jails Thaer Halahla has started to vomit blood after 49 days of hunger strike, his father told Quds Press on Sunday.
He said that his son, who is held in Ramle prison hospital, could not move and the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) was banning visits to him whether family or lawyers’ visits.
The father said that a lawyer managed to see him on Thursday and said that he was throwing up blood from his mouth and nose. The lawyer also said that Thaer was having difficulty in speaking and that he was suffering medical neglect on the part of the hospital administration.
The father said that the IOA renewed his son’s detention for eight times ever since his arrest in 2010 at the pretext of the secret files.
He recalled that Thaer was arrested in 2010 only two weeks after his marriage and saw his daughter that was born while in captivity only once and behind glass barrier.
