#PalHunger | 5 hunger strikers in solidarity with prisoners transferred to hospital in Gaza

GAZA (PIC)– Local sources stated that four people in Gaza City were taken to the hospital on Saturday 5th May after fainting due to their hunger strike in solidarity with the hunger striking prisoners.

The sources told PIC reporter that ambulance crews transferred Amal Abu Sbeitan (40 years), striking for 16 days, Ahmed Shahwan (40 years), Fateh Khalf Allah (50 years), and Salah Abu Samaan (35 years) to the Shifa state Hospital due to the deterioration of their health condition, and after fainting as a result of their participation in the open hunger strike since seven days, in solidarity with prisoners who have launched the strike 19 days ago.

Former captive leader Rouhi Mushtaha was taken to Shifa Hospital in Gaza on Saturday, for the second time in less than 12 hours, after the deterioration of his health, as a result of being on hunger strike at the solidarity sit-in tent in Gaza.

The sources said that medical crews examined Mushtaha to check the health conditions of the leader who asserted his determination to carry on with the hunger strike in solidarity with his comrades in occupation jails.
