#PalHunger | Madi: The Zionist lobby in Europe fails in distorting the prisoners’ case

GAZA, (PIC)– The director of the Council for European Palestinian Relations (CEPR), Dr. Arafat Madi, said that the lobby that supports the Zionist entity tried hard during the period of the prisoners’ strike to justify the occupation’s procedures against the prisoners, especially through using the Media.

However, Madi – who is based in Brussels – asserted in a statement to “Quds Press” that the lobby, supporting the Zionist entity, lost this battle thanks to the steadfastness of the prisoners and their just cause.

He considered that the most important achievement that the prisoners made at the European level, during their battle, was exposing their issue to the Western public opinion as well as the political class.

He added that he participated as a representative of CEPR on Wednesday in the European parliamentary session, during which he delivered a speech about the latest developments on the Palestinian arena, particularly the prisoners’ issue and asserted that “what have been achieved does not mean the end because freedom is the real goal prisoners are seeking to achieve.”

He also asserted that during the “Dignity battle”, the European peoples were showing great sympathy towards the prisoners through demanding the achievement of their release, and considered that this strike will have important future ramifications on several levels.
