NAZARETH, (PIC)– Deputy head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib revealed that the Israeli occupation government issued a tender for the building of a massive synagogue beneath the Aqsa Mosque and its entrance would be at the Buraq wall.

Sheikh Khatib stated in a press statement that the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) organized a tour for construction contractors to see the area where this synagogue would be built, noting that the IOA earmarked 20 million dollars for its project.

He underlined that Israel is persistent in flouting international law which confirms that Jerusalem is an occupied city and refusing to deal with the Aqsa Mosque as an Islamic holy place.
The Islamic figure stressed that the marches and festivals that are held every year by the Jewish settlers to celebrate the occupation of east Jerusalem deal a blow to those who believe that their peace talks with the Israeli occupation would lead to the division of Jerusalem into two capitals, one of them for the Palestinians.

“Everyone thinking that the Israeli enterprise will divide Jerusalem is delusional and chasing a mirage and illusions,” he underlined.
