[ 26/05/2012 – 02:52 PM ]

NEGEV, (PIC)– The Palestinian administrative detainees from Hamas Movement in Negev prison said they are seriously mulling over going on gradual hunger strike if the Israeli prison authority violated its agreement with them and extended their detention.

According to a leaked letter posted on the website Ahrar Wledna (we were born free), each one of the administrative detainees will go on hunger strike alone if his detention is extended and gradually other prisoners will join his strike.

The letter stated that the detainees had been confident from the beginning and warned that the Shin Bet could not be trusted and would violate its agreement with the hunger strikers.

The detainees appealed to Egypt to intervene to force the Israeli side to respect the agreement it has signed with them.
