NABLUS, (PIC)– Political detainee Abdullah Aker, who is on hunger strike in Palestinian Authority jails, was rushed to hospital on Wednesday after deterioration in his health condition.
Well informed sources in Nablus city said that Aker, who has been on hunger strike for 12 days, was taken from Junaid prison to hospital.
They said that the political detainee, who has been in PA jails since 25/4/2010, was enjoying high morale despite his worsening health condition.
Aker is demanding his release according to the ruling of the higher court that ordered his release in July 2010.
