NABLUS, (PIC)– The Palestinian authority security forces escalated its arrest campaign against Hamas cadres and supporters in Nablus city and kidnapped many of them in the last two days.
An armed unit from the PA intelligence apparatus raided last night the house of Omer Al-Hanbali and kidnapped him. He is an ex-detainee in Israeli and PA jails.
The intelligence forces also kidnapped two ex-detainees named Rafiq Attanbour and Abulkarem Mana after storming their homes in Addahiya neighborhood in Nablus city. Now they are in Juneid prison.
The intelligence also kidnapped Sheikh Ramzi Abu Eisha from his home in Askar Al-Balad town east of Nablus city.
Among the detainees are two university students, Yaser Manna and Saeed Bilal and two other young men from the families of Qatanani and Zubaidi.
The intelligence summoned two young men, Adham Al-Shawli and Mohamed Asida, for interrogation without reporting if they were arrested or not.
The PA preventive security forces, for their part, stormed Awarta town south of Nablus and kidnapped the ex-detainee Samer Sharab who spent more than 12 years in Israeli jails and several times in PA jails.
Another man called Anas Awda from the same town was also taken prisoner by the preventive forces.
For its part, the Islamic Jihad Movement accused the PA intelligence agency of stepping up its security campaign against its cadres in the cities of Tulkarem and Jenin.
Its information office said that the PA intelligence summoned on Sunday morning its members Mumen Samaha and Abdulhameed Naser from Saida town in Tulkarem city.
The Islamic Jihad also said that the intelligence forces kidnapped one of its ex-detainees Mohamed Ibrahim after storming his house in Saida town in Tulkarem.
