GAZA CITY (Ma’an) — An Israeli airstrike on Friday killed one man in the central Gaza Strip, medics said.

Israel warplanes bombed an area east of al-Bureij camp, signaling an end to an Egyptian-brokered truce reached Wednesday.

Qassem Abdullah Ahmad, 24, was killed and two people were injured in the strike, Gaza Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said.

The Israeli military said in a statement that it hit “a terrorist squad during preparations to fire a rocket at Israel from the central Gaza Strip.”

Earlier Friday, the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, said it fired four rockets at Israeli targets.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said two rockets landed in southern Israel, causing no injuries.

Israel killed eight Palestinians over three days of heavy shelling that ended Wednesday night as Hamas’ military wing signed up to a truce mediated by Egypt.

The Al-Qassam Brigades said it fired 120 rockets at Israeli military targets on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Israel kills Palestinian in new Gaza airstrike

Al Akhbar English Published Friday, June 22, 2012

An Israeli airstrike killed a Palestinian man on Friday in Gaza, Israel and Hamas medical officials said, two days after an Egyptian-brokered truce had calmed an outbreak of cross-border violence.

An Israeli military spokeswoman confirmed there was an airstrike after a Hamas medical official in Gaza said one person in the attack.

Two other people were wounded, one seriously, in the attack in Al-Bureij in the Gaza Strip, medics said.

Israeli attacks killed at least eight people in a week of coordinated bombings before the truce was agreed on Wednesday.

The strike threatens to wreck a fragile ceasefire, which came into effect after violence erupted on Sunday when Israeli warplanes bombarded the Gaza Strip.

Hamas, in a rare show of force, responded with rocket fire, but only inflicted minimal material damage on Israeli properties.

Hamas has previously refrained from responding to unprovoked Israeli attacks on Gaza in a bid to avoid being drawn into a new war with the Jewish state.

Israel has maintained a crippling siege on the Gaza Strip since 2007, effectively destroying the local economy and plunging the 1.5 million Palestinians into poverty.

Israel routinely carries out unprovoked airstrikes on the territory.

Israel is not looking for Peace

Martyred By Israeli Occupation Attacks

انّا للہ و انّا الیه راجعون

May Allah Subhana wa Ta’ ala grant the Shuhada Jannatul Firdaus, and ease it for their families, loved ones and anyone around them. Allahumma Ameen ya Rabbil Alameen. ‘ Inna Lillahi wa ‘ Inna ‘ Ilayhi Raji’un, Allahu Akbar

* The list of shuhada does not display, the numerous victims of the zionist occupation which are undocumented by media. Nor it displays the victims of the “silent onslaught” due to restrictions of movement, ability to go to hospitals for treatment or life saving surgery, due to lack of medication because of the blockades and so on. For example: The Slow Motion Genocide by the Siege on Gaza only, killed 600 patients since Gaza got under Israeli Siege.

For an overview of All Israeli Massacres Palestinians go here

Neither does this list, display the avoidable mortality. A clear and statistical factual evidence, about the number of deaths due to indecent ruling by occupation forces. For even an occupier has obligations under International Laws, Geneva Convention and the Hague regulations, which it is neglecting. These circumstances, together with deliberate policies of the occupier to neglect and even deny every basic human right, severes avoidable mortality which is totally silenced by media or reporting organisations. While in the Holocaust, 1 on 6 Jewish people directly died of deliberate neglect, so if we believe the facts over 1 million due to avoidable mortality, neither should these same circumstances be ignores which are ongoing in Palestine. For this report displays a avoidable morality of at least 0,5 million Palestinians.

How many more dead corpses of Palestinians does the international community need to see in order to act? How many more cruelties and violations of Human Rights, Regulations and International Law will be needed to intervene so this ongoing warcrime is being stopped once and for all.
