AL-KHALIL, (PIC)– Israeli occupation forces (IOF) violently quelled the weekly peaceful march in Beit Ummar to the north of Al-Khalil on Saturday and arrested three citizens including two foreigners.

Local sources said that the IOF soldiers detained Younis Arrar, the coordinator of the national anti-wall committee in the village, and two solidarity activists, an American and a German.

They said that participants in the peaceful march denounced the IOF demolition of seven houses in the village and condemned the ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip.

The sources pointed out that the IOF command declared the area a closed military zone and blocked the marchers from reaching the village’s confiscated land.
