NABLUS, (PIC) The PA security forces in Nablus moved political prisoner Abdullah al-Aker to hospital because of deterioration of his health condition, while he threatened to resume his hunger strike starting Saturday.

Medical sources said that he is suffering spinal sharp pain because of the torture, especially Shabh (tying the prisoner’s hands and feet together behind him for long hours).

Sources in the northern West Bank city of Nablus confirmed that Aker intends to resume his hunger strike starting Saturday, as two weeks have passed since he was promised release to stop his previous hunger strike and he is still not released.

Aker suspended his release on 14 June after a 19-day hunger strike because he was promised to be released soon, but two weeks later and he is still not released.

He has been detained at Juneid prison in Nablus since his arrest by the PA preventive security on 25 April 2010. The PA security refuse to release despite the fact that there is a court order issued by the PA Supreme Court for his release.
